Foundation
The seeds for the Centre of Excellence in Affordable Healthcare (CoE-AH) were sown during a series of interdisciplinary meetings held during late twenties. Eminent professors, industry experts, and policy makers converged to discuss the potential of leveraging technological advancements and innovations for creating robust healthcare solutions, accessible to all.

Inception
In March 2023, after years of planning, consultations, and groundwork, the CoE-AH was officially established. With its foundation rooted in IIT Kharagpur's illustrious history of pioneering research and innovation, the center was envisioned to be a dedicated entity to contribute to affordable healthcare.
Steering Committee
The steering committee of the CoE-AH is a distinguished assembly of professors and academicians from various domains at IIT Kharagpur. Comprising key personnel from fields such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & ECE, Computer Science & Engineering, and Medical Science & Technology, the committee ensures a multifaceted approach to affordable healthcare.
